Who Needs Stones? Chelsea Signs Senegalese Defender

Must read

Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho has moved to address Chelsea’s defensive frailties. The premier league champions have started the 2015/2016 season on a poor note after conceding all sorts of goals game after game.

The London side have been doing everything within their power to secure the signing of highly-priced Everton centre back, John Stones but the resistance they have faced by the Toffees has been overwhelming and it appears the Chelsea management has now thrashed the idea of signing Stones

The Blues have now signed Senegalese international, Papy Djilobodji from Nantes in a deal worth a fee in the region of £4m. The towering centre-back was in the finally year of his current deal with the French club.

The 26-year-old may enjoy his Chelsea debut against Everton on September 12, 2015
