Nigeria’s former finance minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala on March 1, 2021 resumed her job as Director-General of the World Trade Organization.

Okonjo-Iweala was on February 15 confirmed as the DG of WTO making history as the first African and first woman to ever take up the position.
She showed up for her first day at work at the headquarters in Geneva in Switzerland.
