Beast of No Nation is the story of a young boy, Agu who was forced to become a child soldier in an unnamed West African country. Uzodinma is a Harvard University graduate, an author and a physician.

According to Dr. Okonjo-Iweala’s Facebook post (below), her son, spoke at the White House, the seat of the United States government, at a special screening of the movie, Beast of No Nation, starring Elba.

Elba has won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for his role as a rebel commander in the film.
