Nollywood actor Jim lyke, was involved in a brawl on Tuesday December 17th 2013, at the Crave Café at Adjiringanor East Legon in Accra, The Ghanaian Times reports.
Eyewitnesses told The Ghanaian Times that the brawl occurred between Iyke and an unnamed man believed to be a Nigerian.
At about 5 p.m. yesterday while people were eating in the cafe, a stout-looking man drove in in a black Range Rover with a Nigerian number plate, shortly after, Jim Iyke also drove in with his Sports Chevy with a Nigerian number plate. Both men engaged in an argument.
What started out as a simple altercation over $10,000 turned into a nasty brawl on the streets.
According to the source, Iyke tried to reach into his car to get something. Eyewitnesses perceived it to be a gun and stopped him.
The other man left the scene only to return with two policemen, who in turn arrested Iyke.
According to reports, the actor returned to the cafe after about 20 minutes, giving everyone the impression that all has been settled.
The Ghanaian Times, in a telephone interview with the Legon Police Commander, gathered that both men were released as no eyewitness gave concrete information as to what transpired between Iyke and the unidentified man at the cafe.
