Vice President Yemi Osibanjo, on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 paid a surprise visit to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) at their camp in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
According to reports, the roads in Maiduguri are currently filled with soldiers in order to maintain a smooth passage of Osinbajo’s convoy.
Residents of the area who were not pre-informed of the visit were forced to return to their homes as activities in the troubled town are currently suspended.
