Ball Games

Any kid should know how to throw, kick and catch a ball, as those are all things, he will face in school. Do you remember dodge ball after class and that one kid, that always felt uncomfortable playing? As a role model, you should be showing them how to be chilled and skilled, while playing ball games. The older the kids get, the more opportunities they will then have to lead an active life, whether, by playing football or rugby, going out to see their favorite club, or even coaching younger ones.

Cycling

One of the first big ‘proud dad’ moments is when your child pedals off their first bike, without supporting weeks, but does that mean that you’ve won at parenting and your job here is done? Going cycling with your kid can be a great chance to relax and enjoy some time together, away from phones and computers.

Climbing

Building strength and fitness can be easily achieved by practicing climbing. There are plenty of indoor climbing walls where you and your kids can have a go and see if it’s something you might enjoy. If you’ve tried it and enjoyed it, make sure you practice and put a goal to one day go outdoor climbing, because that’s where you’ll see breathtaking views and experience adrenalin rush like never before.
