SNAPSHOT: President Jonathan Celebrates Super Eagles 1-0 Victory In The #WorldCup [LOOK]

The nu mber one citizen of Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan made out time to watch the Super Eagles match against Bosnia in the ongoing FIFA World Cup.

Seated in front of the screen with his aides on Saturday night, June 21, 2014, President Jonathan watches in anticipation of a victory for Nigeria’s team in the Brazil 2014 tournament.

The Presidents special adviser on media and publicity shared snaps from the Presidential Villa on his Twitter page:

There was joy and celebration as the Super Eagles scored their first goal in the tournament. This raised the hopes of Nigerian’s all around the world who were so nervous and almost losing hope in the African champions.

The Nigerian team went ahead to secure three points to add to the one already recorded in their last match against Iran which ended in a goalless draw.

Nigeria is now left to play against Argentina before moving on to the second round.

We wish them luck in their next match.
