President Goodluck Jonathan met once again with the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari at the president’s office in the villa on Wednesday, May 6, 2015. The meeting between the pair started by 9pm and lasted less than 30 minutes.

According to sources, the meeting was held as a result of the lack of progress in the transition programs of the transition committees set up by the two men. There has been complaints from the APC committee that it was not receiving cooperation from the Federal Government side as relevant materials and responses were not being given to them.

Also, discussions were reportedly made on the direction which the inauguration will take on Friday, May 29, 2015 when President Jonathan officially hands over to General Buhari. The meeting was the third the two leaders would be having after the Independent National Electoral Commission declared Buhari winner of the March 28 presidential election.

However, there was no word about the outcome of the meeting to journalists.
