President Muhammadu Buhari will address the nation in a broadcast on Sunday, March 29, 2020 by 7pm.
The broadcast will be live on Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), and television, radio, and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to link up to the broadcast on NTA and FRCN.
The message was issued by Mr. Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President (Media and Publicity).
This comes after much pressure from Nigerians eager to hear from the president of the country on the Covid-19 pandemic and what the government is doing to stop the spread of the pandemic in Nigeria. Especially since it was reported that the president’s chief of staff and other government officials tested positive for coronavirus.
