The Remote President: Buhari On His 48th International Trip [MUST READ]

Must read

[dropcap]P[/dropcap]resident Muhammadu Buhari  has flown to Saudi Arabia and then to the UK. This is his 48th international trip since May 2015.

In the last three months alone, he has travelled to the U. S., Japan, Russia and South Africa. He spent almost 1/4 of his 1st term outside Nigeria, which literally burns.

a) Kidnapping with impunity is the order of the day. Nigerians are not safe on the road, at home, in school, anywhere.

b) Boko Haram and bandits continue to kill Nigerians everyday single day. They are the government of the day.

c) Foodstuff prices continue to skyrocket.

Buhari and his handlers keep saying he’s traveling to track foreign investment but the truth of the matter is that you can’t attract investment to a terror-destroyed, crime-ridden country. Are businesses charity or humanitarian organizations?

What Buhari should prioritize is domestic security not only because it’s the way to a great economy but also because it’s his primary constitutional responsibility. But he obviously doesn’t care as long him and his family are safe. Perhaps, he waiting for a miracle in the security sector.

History will never forget or forgive this criminal neglect and, most importantly, God – if not Nigerians – will call Buhari and his cronies to account.
