Result Sheets of 520 Polling Units in Rivers State have been declared missing despite the warnings by Governor Nyesom Wike ahead of the Rivers re-run polls scheduled for Saturday, March 19, 2016.
This is out of the 4442 polling units in the State.
Vigilant international and local observers have called on an immediate replacement of the stolen sheets.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, resident electoral commissioner, REC, Aniedi Ikoiwak, confirmed the development on Channels TV during an early morning program on Friday, March 17, 2016.
Multiple sources have accused the adhoc staff loyal to the All Progressive Congress, APC, of being responsible for the missing sheets.
Recall that APC members hold key adhoc positions in INEC.
