A young girl identified as Miss Grace Ebiloma who was headed home after a church vigil was seized and gang raped to death inside a bush by some unknown men in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.
An Evangelist at the church named Power House Ministry, Enechojo Agenethe in a statement disclosed that the lady was brutally attacked by the assailants when she went to a to take some rest in a building opposite the church.
Agenethe further disclosed that the lifeless body of the deceased was discovered in the bush after a search.
Leadership reported on Thursday, January 15, 2015 that the Evangelist described the action of the hoodlums as heinous, calling on God in heaven to visit vengeance on the perpetrators of this gruesome act.
He further pleaded with the security operatives in the state to carry out thorough investigation into the matter and ensure the hoodlums are brought to book.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Elvis Aguebor, when contacted for comments said the command was yet to receive a report concerning the case.
