Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affiars, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro has come out to rebuff reports of Xenophobic violence against Nigerians and other foreigners in parts of South Africa.
Speaking via his official Twitter account, Senator Obanikoro said the reports were false as the Nigerian High Commissioner to South Africa has affirmed that the said killing of Nigerians is yet to be ascertained.
He also added that efforts are being made to secure the lives and property of Nigerian citizens in South Africa.
