Spirit and Life Devotional is a daily publication by Pastor Chinaemerem Ibezim, senior pastor of Able Ministers Chapel, a church based in Calabar, Cross River State.

“Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” – Mark 9:23 NKJV

Many times the problem is not a lack of power but a lack of faith. Power is available; but if we must do exploits we must exercise our faith. There was so much power in Jesus and many people were touching Him as He walked through the crowd and nothing happened to any of them; but the woman with the issue of blood touched Him with her faith and she got healed instantly!

God can do anything: for with God nothing is impossible. But for God to act on our behalf we must learn to impress Him with our faith.

Even as individuals, brothers and sisters, we’ve got so much potentials to achieve amazing things. We doubt our personal abilities; we underestimate ourselves; we allow fear paralyze us and we often set small goals. We must become daring. We must dare to do the impossible! Enough of small thinking! We must strive for greater accomplishments.

Believe; that’s the condition that Jesus gave. He said that if we can believe, all things, not some, all things would be possible for us. Hallelujah!

Prophetic Declaration

From today I choose to believe. I am working on my ability to believe; I will dare to believe for greater and even unimaginable deeds. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Amen.
