“Useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.” I Timothy 6:5
Lot was Abraham’s nephew, and Abraham played a major role in his success, but when their herdsmen began to quarrel because of land and space, Abraham did not hesitate to ask for a separation.
The Bible asks us to follow peace with all men. What it doesn’t ask us to do is to lose our peace of mind in the process. Sometimes, peace will be achieved through separation.
Learn to walk away from people and situations that are not blessing you in anyway. Walk away from whatever is affecting your relationship with God. You don’t have to become an enemy, neither must you remain a friend! If you were not born with them, you can surely live without them.
You can’t move fast if you are holding on to relationships that have become a burden. There are so many great relationships that God wants to lead you to, but you must first say bye to those who shouldn’t remain in your life.
You’re blessed, in Jesus name. Amen.
