Mark Angel Comedy, Tiwa Savage Lead List Of Top 2016 YouTube Videos [See Full List]

Social media platform, YouTube played a major part in shaping 2016 with billions of pageviews, the Google owned video sharing website never fails to bring content that makes us laugh, cry, wail, and dance.

YouTube has released its ‘most watched’ list of 2016 and it is quite interesting who tops and dominates the list for Nigeria.

An indigenous comedy brand, Mark Angel Comedy is top on the list and is featured 3 times in the top 20 videos of 2016.

Tiwa Savage’s interview with ThisDay reporter over her marital crisis came in 2nd while Ugandan comedian and Dancer, MC King Kong, was the only foreign content to have cracked the Nigerian audience.

In the music category,  the global chart hit ‘Work’ by the sultry Barbadian singer/songwriter Rihanna featuring Drake occupies the top position with over 796 million views.

Local Nigerian music took up the remaining nine spots.
