A woman was arrested on a charge of assault after allegedly biting off her husband’s manhood because he gave her little money for shopping.
Police officials in Malawi, Dorothy Zeka, was arrested after being accused of injuring her husband, Isaac Zeka, during the argument over money.
Investigation by the Lingadzi police dvsclosed that the man had given his wife K2,000 ($3.31) so she could buy some groceries for the home, but she insisted that she needed K2,500 ($4.14) to buy enough groceries for the week.
Her husband remained adamant and a fight ensued between the couple, during which the woman reportedly reached for her husband’s penis and bit it off.
Mr Zeka was rushed to the Lingadzi Central Hospital, where he is receiving treatment for the injury he sustained from the encounter.
WWWN reported that Mr Zeka had called the police from his hospital bed to file a complaint against his wife.
Although he claimed that he still loves his wife despite filing a police complaint against her, adding that he only wants her to be punished for her actions so she would learn her lessons.
