Rt. Hon. Adams Dabotorudima, the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly has described the verdict of the Supreme Court of Nigeria on the appeal brought before it by Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, Governor of Rivers State as a victory for democracy.
The Speaker made the declaration when he addressed newsmen in Port Harcourt, Wednesday, after the declaration of the judgment by the Supreme Court.
In the brief statement he called on all stakeholders to join forces with the Governor to move the State forward. The statement also commended the courageous Justices of the Supreme Court for their tenacity in upholding and safeguarding the truth.
