A 57-year-old woman, Yolande Veasley, from Dayton Ohio had on Saturday, January 10, 2015 thrown kitchen knives at the face of her 15-year-old son severally because he allegedly lied about eating three out of the four chops of pork prepared for the next day.
The victim disclosed to the police that his mother could possibly have acted under the influence of alcohol as she had been drinking for sometime.
The boy who said he had knives coming to his face ran to his maternal aunt’s apartment after he saw the rage with which his biological mother threw the knives at him.
His aunt rushed him to Good Samaritan hospital where the injuries he sustained required stitching.
During the police visit to the woman’s house in the 900 block of Neal Avenue, they saw a white towel soaked in blood with a knife the size described by her son in the sink with dried blood stains on it according to WHIO reports.
She told the investigating police officers that she threw the knife at her son after he pushed her down.
The woman was remanded into Montgomery County Jail on suspicion of felonious assault.
