The Deputy Governor of Yobe State, Abubakar Ali, was on Monday, March 7, 2016 involved in a car accident in Daka-Tsalle town along the Kaduna- Kano Expressway.
This is coming up a day after the Nigeria’s Minister of State for Labour and productivity, James Ocholiwas involved in a crash that claimed his life alongside his wife and son along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway.
Narrating the incident to Premium Times, an eye-witness, Sunusi Abdul, said: “The SUV he was travelling in had a head-on collision with a Toyota Avensis vehicle.
“Fortunately, the deputy governor’s vehicle did not somersault, but the Toyota car was badly damaged and some of its occupants injured.”
Mr. Abdul, who said the accident occurred around 9:30 am saalong the Kaduna-Abuja expresswayd he also narrowly missed hitting Mr. Ali’s car, adding that Ali’s convoy later continued their trip to Kano State.
