A young doctor, Dr Chinelo Megafu has been confirmed dead in Monday night’s attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train.
Terrorists bombed the train tracks to force the train to come to a halt. The terrorists began to shoot sporadically trying to gain entry into the train. The gunshots hit some of the passengers including Chinelo.
Shortly after the attack at about 9:43 pm she tweeted; “I’m in the train. I have been shot please pray for me.”

Dr Megafu was confirmed dead in the attack.
A friend of Dr Megafu has said the deceased resigned from her job last month and was to Nigeria out of Nigeria this Friday before meeting her untimely death last night.
“Dr Chinelo was making an honest living, she was working at St Gerald’s hospital in Kaduna, she wanted more for herself and processed her papers to leave this hell-hole. She resigned last month to leave the country this Friday then this happened. Nigeria why???,” her friend tweeted.
