Retired police AIG Hamma Misau died last night, March 27, 2014 at the National Hospital in Abuja.
Late Misau is a delegate at the ongoing National Conference in Nigeria,who became famous when a photo of him taking a nap at the conference was shared on social media three days ago.
Another source said Alhaji Misau was gently moved into his vehicle on Wednesday afternoon, March 26, 2014 as he was too weak to walk by himself to a parking lot at the National Judicial Institute, venue of the ongoing national conference.
Sahara Reporters reports that the news of his death was confirmed by his cousin, Barrister Mohammed Hamma. He said a Muslim funeral is due shortly in Bauchi for the late delegate.
Mallam Hamma Misau was 67 years old and hails from Misau in Bauchi state.
