Three men are currently being hunted by the police for allegedly gang-raping and robbing an 81-year-old woman identified only as Martha.
The incident happened on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 according to New Akrofuom police in Ghana.
The police discovered that the trio broke into the woman’s apartment on the fateful day and while they were searching for some money, the woman enquired to know what they were looking for but got beaten up rather.
Martha reportedly passed out and regained consciousness later only for the hoodlums to take turns in raping her.
Not satisfied with the harm already done, the three men were said to have also escaped with the woman’s valuables abandoning her to bleed to death.
Luckily, she rushed to a neighbor’s home and after informing them about the encounter, they called the police.
Meantime, nobody has been arrested in connection with the crime, although investigations have taken a full force.
