A high court sitting in the Taraba state capital, Jalingo has barred the recently instituted medical panel set up by the state house of assembly to ascertain the state of health of Governor Danbaba Suntai from proceeding with the probe, according to Premium Times.
The said the panel was unnecessary as the supreme court was currently judging a case still relating to the governor’s health.
The ex-parte motion was filed by Alex Izinyon on behalf of governor Suntai and was represented in court by Elijah Nyaro, a lawyer from his firm.
Mr. Izinyon was represented in court by a lawyer from his firm, Elijah Nyaro.
