Buhari And Jonathan Hold Secret Meeting In Abuja

Nigeria’s former President Goodluck Jonathan paid a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa in Abuja, on Monday, November 2, 2015.

This will be the second time Buhari and Jonathan will be meeting since the new government came into power.

The meeting which is said to have lasted for about five minutes was held behind the closed doors at the New Banquet Hall of the Aso Rock villa.

The former president arrived at the State House at 2.00pm in a black Sport Utility Vehicle, SUV, and headed straight for the new banquet hall of the villa.

President Buhari saw off his guest at about 2:07 pm. Jonathan left the presidential villa without talking to the reporters.

Details of the meeting are still unknown.
