The rescued Chibok schoolgirl, Amina Ali, has met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Aso Rock on Thursday, May 19, 2016.
Ms. Ali was rescued (or found) by the Nigerian Army (or by local vigilante) at Baale near Damboa, 96 km from Maiduguri (or Sambisa Forest) on Tuesday after spending two years in captivity following a Boko Haram attack on the Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok in April 2014 in which over 200 girls were kidnapped.

According to presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, Buhari and security chiefs met with Amina Ali in Abuja at about 2.40pm. The president on Twitter, said that Amina’s mother Binta and her brother, Inua were also at the meeting.
Amina was accompanied to the State House by her mother, Binta, and her brother, Inua.

“Borno State governor, Kassim Shettima and national security adviser, Babagana Monguno led Amina, her baby and mother to the President’s office at about 2.45pm,” on report says.
Present at the meeting is founder of the Bring Back Our Girls movement, Ms. Hadiza Bala Usman, an All Progressives Congress (APC) member who was “rewarded” for her work running the movement – which was focused on taking down the Goodluck Jonathan government – with the position of chief of staff to the Kaduna Governor, Nasir El Rufai and a position on Buhari’s anti-corruption advisory committee.
Prominent Bring Back Our Girls’ leader, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, a former vice president of the World Bank was absent. On the 2nd anniversary of the kidnapping of the Chibok girls, Ezekwesili and the movement was locked out of Aso Rock.
