A couple has been arrested after they were caught selling golden tickets to heaven to some gullible persons.
They are currently cooling their heels inside jail for committing such a crime.
Police officers in Jacksonville Florida identified the pair as Tito and Amanda Watts.
Unbelievably, their victims ran into hundreds.
Each of the golden tickets to heaven which were sold on the streets were sold at the sum of $99.99.
The couple deceived the buyers with a lie that the tickets were made of solid gold and each ensures the buyer a place in heaven by simply presenting it at the heaven’s gate.
Police said that selling tickets to heaven is legal, but that Watt defrauded people by telling them that the tickets were made of solid gold.
The tickets were wood and covered with gold paint even though Mr. Watts denied the claims adding that he was not bothered about whatever the police say the tickets were made of wood.
According to World Wide Weird News, Mr Watts also said that Jesus gave him the tickets outside a KFC restaurant, and an alien promised him to take him and his wife to a planet made of cocaine, where he would be able to do drugs all day for free.
On her own art, Mrs Watts said that she was all about leaving the Earth to go into space where she would smoke cocaine as she pleases.
Police said that they seized more than $10,000 and five crack pipes.
