Wedding bells are in the air! According to eurweb.com Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson are engaged to be married. The son of Diana Ross and younger sister of Jessica Simpson have been dating less than a year, but have been friends for a long time. They revealed their relationship in July 2013. Evan is 25 and Ashlee is 29.
Ashlee tweeted, “My baby love and I are ENGAGED!!! Hallelujah Hawaii !!!!!” With that tweet was a picture of them seriously in love. In the picture you can get a glimpse of the ring.

Evan is from Greenwich, Connecticut and attended Greenwich High School. He is 25 years old and his father is Norwegian business man Evan Oliv Naess who passed in 2004 (his father was killed in a climbing accident in South Africa). Evan is an actor and musician with a role in the Hunger Games: Mockingjay (which is currently filming). Evan has also appeared in ATL, Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story and 90210. In the past Evan has dated Aubrey O’Day, Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan and Hayden Panettiere. Evan told the Insider, “I’m so in love and we’ve got amazing things going on. And we inspire each other.”
Now both Simpson girls are engaged. Ashlee’s sister Jessica is engaged to Eric Johnson and set to get married this year. Ashlee was married to Pete Wentz of Fallout Boy and they have a 5-year-old son named Bronx. They’ve been divorced since 2011.
Ashlee Simpson is no lightweight herself. Born and raised in Texas, Ashlee is a singer, songwriter and actress. She is credited with three albums and numerous acting roles. Her first album was created during her show The Ashlee Simpson Show. Ashlee was also in the Broadway musical Chicago.
Hopefully the second time around will be a charm for Ashlee.
