“The suspect, born in 1956, had a grim wish — to remain the sole owner of the family’s real estate. To achieve this, she ordered the murder of her son, born in 1978, and daughters born in 1974,” disclosed a statement from the Ministry.

The chilling plot was foiled by diligent officers from the criminal investigation department of the Krasnoyarskoye Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The widow’s plan unravelled on the very day the hired assassin was due to strike at one of the daughters and collect the remainder of his payment.

A photograph released by the police during the investigation chillingly shows a mound of cash, said to be the alleged payment for the hitman. The image provides a stark glimpse into the dark lengths to which the accused was prepared to go.

The widow’s arrest came as a relief to the community, averting what could have been a horrifying triple homicide. “This is a heinous act, one that is shocking and heart-wrenching,” commented an anonymous local resident. “It’s a sobering reminder that greed can often lead to unimaginable horrors.”

As investigations continue, the woman remains in police custody. The Ministry has vowed to ensure that she faces the full wrath of the law, stating: “No stone will be left unturned in this case. Justice will be served.”

This disturbing case underscores the tragic consequences that can arise from familial disputes over property and inheritance. As the city of Krasnoyarsk grapples with the fallout of this shocking news, the tale of the would-be murderess serves as a chilling reminder of the lengths some will go to secure their fortune.
