Abiola Ajimobi, the immediate past governor of Oyo State, has been laid to rest in his residence at 6th Avenue, Yemoja Street, Oluyole Estate in Ibadan, Oyo states capital.
Senator Ajimobi passed away at the age of 70 at First Cardiology Hospital in Lagos following complications with COVID-19.
He was buried on Sunday, June 28, 2020 with strict compliance with the COVID-19 protocols.
He is survived by his wife, Florence and their five children.
