Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, has alleged that Ogoni leaders are the problem of Ogoniland.
The Governor accused some Ogoni people of selling themselves out, adding that they have turned the Ogoni struggle into a money-making avenue.

He said; “The problem with Ogoniland are these people (pointing to Ogoni leaders).
“Every day, Ogoni day, what is Ogoni day when you have gone to sell yourselves out?
“All of you coming here telling me Ogoni day, you use it to make money. Go and check your conscience Ogoni people, check your conscience.
“I’m not here for APC or PDP. You people don’t love yourself. You killed Magnus Abe in APC. You destroyed him because he wanted to be Governor.”
