A 19-year-old housemaid was arrested after she cut off her employer’s newborn baby’s hands because the man allegedly impregnated her and refused to accept responsibility to his wife.
The Chiradzulu police in Malawi, said the housemaid of the wealthy businessman is currently being investigated.
During questioning the maid told police her employer had sex with her several times during his wife’s pregnancy and got her pregnant.
According to her when the businessman found out she was pregnant and refused to either take responsibility for the child or support her financially.
The maid in a fit of rage cut off the hand’s of his wife’s newborn baby.
It was learnt that the man’s wife called the police who are currently building up a case of assault and causing grievous bodily harm against the maid.
