A shocking twist has filtered into the current rumble in the APC as a Federal High Court In Kano state has set aside the ruling of the FCT High Court which ordered the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The judge in charge, Justice Lewis Allagoa on Thursday, March 5, 2020, after setting aside the ruling, ordered the police and Department of State Service (DSS) to also provide enough security for the reinstated party chairman, Oshiomhole to resume in his office.

On Wednesday, immediately after the FCT Court gave the ruling to sack Oshiomhole, police swooped on the party secretariat, blocked entry, and kept vigil. They were soon joined by a team of operatives from the Department of State Security Services, DSS.

The embattled chairman of the ruling party met with President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday at the Presidential Villa.

Speaking with state house correspondents immediately he exited the closed-door meeting, Adams Oshiomhole accused a serving minister and some governors as being responsible for his ordeal. The former edo governor described himself as “a child of light” who will always defeat darkness.

When prodded by reporters, Oshiomhole did not name the minister who was after him.

A few hours after Oshiomhole’s court-ordered suspension, the APC announced the appointment of new national officers as the party vowed to obey the court order asking the national chairman to step aside till the determination of the suit against him.
