Operatives of the Bayelsa State Command of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) have rescued the two Lebanese nationals who were kidnapped in Bayelsa on Wednesday, June 24, 2015.
Vanguard reports that the pair were rescued on Friday, June 26, 2015 after they were kidnapped at Onuebum in Ogbia local government area of Bayelsa State by some unknown gunmen.
It is unknown if any ransom was paid.
