ABUJA, Nigeria – In response to a tweet by Sam Amadi, director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, stating that President-elect Bola Tinubu’s inauguration could be legally stopped before May 29, Festus Keyamo, Minister of State for Labour and Employment, has voiced his disagreement.
Amadi claims that a serious case in the tribunal could potentially prevent Tinubu from forming the next government.
There is no fait accompli about the situation. Some use of language can create a false narrative where we believe that a declaration by @inecnigeria no matter how wrong constitutes a new government. No. It does not, until the final court says so.

Keyamo expressed his disapproval of Amadi’s assertion, accusing those who support the idea of being ill-informed.
In a tweet on Friday, May 5, 2023, Keyamo said, “I read somewhere that some supposedly learned fellow is assuring the nattering nitwits that the inauguration of @officialABAT can be legally stopped before May 29th, and yet another story that some foreign lawyers have been flown in to achieve that purpose. And I read many excited reactions from these nitwits.”

He continued, expressing his concern for those who believe such claims: “Then I shook my head and murmured under my breath, ‘illiteracy is truly a disease, and it is sad that some unscrupulous characters are taking advantage of these poor fellows’.”
Keyamo’s response suggests that he is confident in Tinubu’s inauguration moving forward as planned, dismissing the notion that it could be legally halted before the scheduled date.
A number of Nigerians took issues with the ministers response, however.
When I read this tweet… I shook my head and murmured under my breath,
" see a man who wants a known drug trafficker and serial liar to be his president via a scam and fraudulent election which they now want to force Nigerians to accept calling people names".

Senior Advocate of Narcotics, you aren't a learned SAN because you put up an argument of Tinubu's name wasn't mentioned in the drug trafficking case, rather bank accounts in the name of Bola Tinubu, meaning you want to convince us that bank accounts can function by themselves
