LAGOS, Nigeria – Nigerian singer, Daniel Anidugbe, better known as Kizz Daniel, has made a surprising move by signing his former record label boss, Emperor Geezy, to his own record label, Fly Boi Inc.
The ‘Woju’ crooner revealed that he has resigned as CEO of Fly Boi Inc., and appointed Geezy in his stead.
Kizz Daniel disclosed this unexpected development during a recent interview on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, with media personality, Angela Yee.
He also announced the signing of a new artist, known as Prime, to Fly Boi Inc.
“I stepped down as the CEO of Fly Boi Inc. So, I signed up Emperor Geezy as the new CEO of Fly Boi Inc. And we just signed a new artist, Prime; that’s his name. He’s really good. He’s also on my upcoming album,” Kizz Daniel said.
This development marks a significant turnaround in the relationship between Kizz Daniel and Emperor Geezy.
The singer was initially signed to Geezy’s G-Worldwide Entertainment in 2013, but departed in 2017 following a highly publicized contract dispute and court case.
After his departure, Kizz Daniel established his own record label, Fly Boi Inc. Now, the singer has brought his former boss on board, indicating a full reconciliation and an exciting new chapter for both parties.
