The immediate past Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Lamorde, on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 officially handed over to the newly appointed acting chairman of the anti-graft agency, Ibrahim Mustapha Magu.
President Muhammadu Buhari relieved Lamorde of his duties on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, four years after he headed the anti-graft commission.
He said: “As a human being, you have the right to disagree with someone, but if you disagree with your leader approach him yourself, instead of going out there to grumble.”
About his successor, Lamorde said: “He needs all the support and encouragement he can get, and he should not be distracted with unnecessary write-ups.”
