A man was arrested on a charge of breaching privacy and modesty after allegedly sneaking onto a balcony and recording a naked couple in their bedroom, police in the United Arab Emirates said.
Dubai police said that they arrested the 22-year-old man, who was identified as A. A., after being caught recording the 29-year-old man and 24-year-old woman as they undressed in their bedroom.
The suspect was charged with four counts of breaching privacy and modesty. The suspect denied the allegations and pleaded not guilty.
According to the police investigation, the couple was in their bedroom in front of the glass door of the terrace while the curtain was partially open.
While changing their clothes, they noticed a mobile phone next to the curtain. The husband ran to the balcony and caught the suspect recording them with his mobile phone.
The husband grabbed the phone away. When he checked it, he discovered four videos of himself. He also found other videos, showing women undressing.
