A 25-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping his uncle’s 4-year-old daughter to death in Nongvan village, Timdore District in Ganye Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
The accused identified only as Nenekenso, was said to have been fond of the deceased identified as Aisha Ali, until the fateful day when he committed the dastardly act that led to her death over the weekend.
On the fateful day, Nenekenso reportedly visited the house of the deceased and started to play with the deceased as usual while her mother was busy with domestic chores.
However, according to Vanguard, hell broke loose when she was greeted with the lifeless body of her daughter by villagers.
When contacted, the state police public relations officer, DSP Othman Abubakar, confirmed the incident.
He disclosed that the suspect has been arrested and is currently under the custody of the Criminal Investigation Department.
