The Nigerian Presidency continues its notorious responsibility deflection and blame games by declaring that the government should not be blamed, but the pipeline vandals for the chronically poor power supply in the country.

Mr. Femi Adesina, spokesman for President Muhammadu Buhari went on Channels TV on Sunday, March 27, and declared that “those complaining of darkness should go and hold pipeline vandals”, absolving the government of responsibility in the matter.

It is actually painful to watch the Muhammadu Buhari government try to evade responsibility for the very things that the government claimed credit for and attributed it to the body language of the president.

Just last week, the minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu declared that he is ‘trained as a magician” when confronted by journalists over the hardship the unending fuel shortages are causing Nigerians.
