A 22-year-old Islamic singer, Monsurat Yusuf, alias Alhaja Saudi has allegedly stabbed her boyfriend, Eric Moses to death in Ogun State because she dreamt where the victim gave her a hot slap, Pulse reports.
It was learnt that the pair, who were both students of D.S Adegbenro ICT Polytechnic, Itori, had gotten into an argument about the deceased’s new girlfriend shortly before Yusuf slept off and had the dream.
The Business Administration student woke up on the fateful day of Tuesday, March 17, 2015 and narrated the dream to Moses who was a student of Computer Science in the same school.
He laughed over it without knowing that the dream could actually lead him through a shortcut to his early grave.
Irked by his reaction to the dream, Yususf was said to have stabbed him at the left part of his chest.
He screamed as he writhed in pains and attracted some persons even though he became lifeless before any professional help could get to him due to the amount of blood already lost.
The tragic incident happened at the T.J. Hostel for students of the polytechnic.
It was alleged that the duo were dating before they just broke up recently after some squabbles.
However, a different side of the story had it that the victim got a new girlfriend after the suspect became pregnant for a different man.
On the fateful day, she sang some songs mocking her boyfriend’s new girl and challenged him to confront her.
It was during during the process of taking to the dare that the enraged girl stabbed him in the chest.
The District Police Officer (DPO) of Ewekoro Police Command, Mohammed Abdullahi, disclosed that the command had apprehended the suspect adding that investigations into the incident have been taken up by the State Criminal Investigation Department, Ogun State Police Headquarters, Eleweran.
