A 35-year-old woman had on Saturday, January 3, 2015 got stuck in the chimney of her estranged boyfriend,Tony Hernandez while attempting to get into his house in Woodcrest.
The woman who apparently stripped herself in order to get through faster was rescued by the Riverside County Fire Department after she got stuck inside the 12-by-12-inch chimney.
According to CBS reports, Hernandez said the woman, the mother of his three children, had tried around 5 a.m. to open the door of his home in the 15800 block of Rancho Viejo Drive. When she found it locked she climbed to the roof and attempted to get in through the chimney.
He said he was woken up from sleep by her cries for help and he tried to rescue her with an extension cord.
“She said, ‘I’m trapped in the chimney.’ So I tried to get her out but it was too hard.”
The firefighters worked for two hours and had to break the chimney open in order to rescue the woman.
After the rescue, the woman who sustained some injuries was taken to the hospital for medical care.
Meanwhile, Hernandez disclosed that the woman was not living with him and isn’t permitted to be around their children.
“I don’t like the way she’s acting or what she’s doing. That’s not good for my kids,” he said.
