No fewer than 31 persons suspected to be drug peddlers have been arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, in the commercial city of Onitsha, Anambra State.
According to Daily Post, the State Commander of the anti-narcotic agency, Sule Muhammadu, said the drug dealers were nabbed in their hideouts in the commercial town.
He said, “We arrested 31 suspects and we were able to seize about 27.4 grams of cocaine, 8.6 grams of heroine and we are working to secure Anambra.”
Muhammadu stated that the suspects would be made to face the full wrath of the law if convicted after necessary investigations.
