Nigerian Man Dies After Drugs Burst In His Stomach In Indonesia

The year 2015 has turned out to be a not so good year for Nigerian drug smugglers especially in Indonesia following the execution of four Nigerians in April and the alleged sentencing of another female Nigerian student in May.

Yet another young Nigerian has died from drug smuggling saga.

25-year-old Austin Chukwuna has allegedly died from implosion of ingested drugs in his stomach.

According to Indonesian police reports, he had run out of his hotel room, where he had been lodging in with the intent of smuggling the drugs out of the country, very suddenly towards the car park like a lunatic in an attempt to get the drugs out of his system.

He allegedly broke a car window and tried to use the broken glass to cut his stomach open but could not get the drugs out.

According to Benda Police Chief, Comr. Heddi Managsi; “Austin Chukwuna, 25, ran out of the Ibis Hotel near the airport compound where he had just stayed a night. He allegedly tore open his abdomen with pieces of glass. We then took him in the ambulance, but he died on the way to Tangerang General Hospital.”

Comr. Heddi also said that on searching the hotel room were Austin was lodged, three methamphetamine capsules and another eight meth capsules were found in the room.
