Nnamdi Kanu Drags Kenyan Gov’t To Court Over Rearrest

Must read

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has dragged the Kenyan Government to court.

Aloy Ejimakor, the special counsel to the IPOB leader, disclosed this via his Twitter handle on Thursday, September 16, 2021.

“UPDATE: Extraordinary Rendition: Onyendu’s legal team has filed a suit in Kenya against the Kenyan government,” Ejimakor wrote.

Kanu was recently rearrested in Kenya and repatriated to Nigeria.

Wilfred Machage, the Kenyan High Commissioner, refuted the claim that Kenyan police arrested Kanu.

Despite the denial, IPOB had continued to accuse Kenya of playing a role in Kanu’s rearrest.

Kanu is expected in court in October. The Nigerian government primarily charged him with treason.
