The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has called for a thorough investigation into the traumatic crash of the Chopper conveying Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to campaign in Kogi State.
The party, however, appreciated God for the safety of Osinbajo, members of his entourage and the crew, after the Saturday helicopter crash in Kabba, Kogi.
The party in a statement on Saturday, February 2, 2019, issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Olognondiyan, expressed shock over the crash of the helicopter.
The PDP said the investigation became necessary to ensure the safety of “our leaders, and of course, all Nigerians, must be guaranteed, especially at this critical time.
“The PDP urges all Nigerians irrespective of creed, ethnicity and political affiliation, to continue to pray for God’s continued intervention in our national life,” it stated.
