Faith in Christ is great, but without love for other people, faith is dead. James was talking about love when he said that faith without works is dead. James 2:20
The love the brethren in Colosse had for other believers was so great that believers everywhere spoke about it. What’s the level of your love for the brethren? Don’t be the type of Christian who goes to church just to hear the word, sing and dance, and disappear: you must become interested in the lives of people around you.
Always think of ways you can help and show love to people in need. Faith works by love (Galatians 5:6). Let your faith be practical and not theoretical; be the blessing that you’re meant to be. Amen.
