The police in Lagos State have arrested a very popular General Overseer of an unnamed Pentecostal church located at the Oworonshoki area of the state for defiling an 11-year-old girl in a brothel.
According to reports, the pastor who was also not named, lured the victim to the brothel in the area where he raped her on Saturday, January 23, 2016.
Some commercial sex workers at the brothel were said to have arrived the scene following the victim’s screams for help.
They called the policemen from the Alonge Police Division to the scene after they discovered that the room was locked.
It was gathered that the policemen arrived the scene and forced the door open only to see the half-naked pastor trying to clean up the victim who was bleeding.
The pastor was arrested, but was granted bail after two days which has caused serious outrage among the residents of the community who accused the pastor of being a habitual rapist.
The protesting residents disclosed that prior to the last incident, the self-confessed pastor had raped three other girls in the area.
