Pop queen Madonna fell off the stage during her performance at the Brit Awards on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 after one of her back-up dancers accidentally pulled her down a flight of stairs.
The 56-year-old singer was standing at the top of the stairs in her matador-style cape costume with a long train while singing her new song “Living for Love.”
It appears she was trying to get rid of the cape, when one of her dancers tried helping her, which ended in a trip down a flight of stairs.
Gasps were heard in the O2 auditorium, where celebrities including Kanye West, Kim Kardashian and Russell Crowe, Jennifer Lawrence, Sam Smith amongst others were sitted.
However when she got up, she carried on her performance like nothing happened but later joked about her fall on Instagram saying, “Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight! But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I’m fine! ❤️#livingforlove”
