The second COVID-19 patient in Rivers will be discharged from the isolation centre.
Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, disclosed this in a press conference at the Government House on Friday, April 17, 2020.
“The second case which was recorded and taken to the treatment center has now tested negative and will be discharged this morning, thanks to God for His mercy,” the governor said.
The governor commended health officials and security operatives for the success in containing the coronavirus pandemic in the state.
